We have the KUAT Sherpa. Rack weighs 32lbs and will hold two bikes at 40 lbs each. Our last trip was several thousand miles and the bikes did not move an inch according to my wife following behind. Solid.

We have a Kuat also and it has performed very well a little expensive at $550 but very stable platform for our bikes. No bouncing.

I had a Marin that weighed in at around 30lbs. cost was under 1K new. Not a cheap bike, not the most expensive by a long shot. I know the weight cause I had to weigh for shipping when I sold it.

That's good to know. I plan to get a rack that can hold 2 Honda's, not for running down the road but to use when stopped to keep the Honda's off the ground when I dry camp. Thanks for asking the factory as I would have always thought I was only good for 50lbs
