Questions about Silverback

I have a 2011 Cedar Creek Silverback 29RE. Has anyone else had trouble with the upper outside cabinet doors at the rear of trailer coming open while traveling. If so you figured out a fix. I damaged the cabinet door and knocked off trim on the slide after on came open while traveling.

Also does anyone have a wiring diagram for the prewired satellite roof top antenna. Mine is prewired with no sat antenna. Want to check into maybe running a wire to the roof access an utilize this wiring for my portable satellite antenna.

I had this issue on my old Cougar, I used baby door locks to keep them closed. There are several types that would work you just need to find one that you like and will work.

I use Velcro straps to hold closed while traveling. Also use a piece of trim in the handles for upper cabinets. You can get the Velcro straps on amazon cheap

I also have a 29RE. We really love the arrangement and the open feel. Have never had cabinet doors open while traveling, but almost wrecked the kitchen cabinets once when opening the slide. The slide trim caught one of the doors beneath the sink. I caught it just in time and nothing was damaged, but there was huge potential for damaging cabinets and the slide. I am now very careful to check ALL the cabinet doors and drawers to make certain they are closed before operating the slides.

thanks for ideas

Thanks for the replies, trying to find a baby cabinet lock that will work. Hard to find in a small town.

I use the wide blue painters tape on all of our cabinet handles and doors when we haul our camper to and from our seasonal site

Easy on and off with no residue and the wide stuff is just enough to keep doors shut in transit

I still do a full visual check before opening slides - just a habit of being overly paranoid 😊

Gsp; look on Amazon and have them shipped to your door!

I have a 16 29RE and on the top of the roof there is a sticker marking the location to drill. I assume that yours has long since worn off. I would say that you could email CC service and they should respond with that answer.
Good Luck
