Radius on roof sides 2017 35ik

Does anyone know if the radius edge on the edge of the roof has aluminum behind it, a branch fell on the edge of my roof and dented it. I’m thinking of taking a 2x4 and hammer and trying to rework metal trying not to mess up rubber roofClick image for larger version

I'll say yes as there is metal of some sort (alum or tin) that actually forms the radius from the roof itself blending into the sides. It's very thin as small hail will dent it if it hits the radius during a storm. If you do have a couple of small punctures ... Eternabond tape will fix it although it will stand out, but you don't want to know what a roof membrane replacement cost$$$$$.

My 2017 Hathaway Edition does have aluminum radius metal so i am saying yours does too. I too have had a run in with a tree branch.

Haven't started on it yet. At the Forest River rally this year I talked with the Cedar Creek people and they told me how to fix it and what parts I would need We were camping through the first week in December. I am planning on waiting until late March or early April to repair. They showed me how to remove the rain gutter and expose the metal so it is a matter of remove and replace.... I hope. I did have small snag holes in the roofing that i used Enternabond tape on.
