I put a small dab of clear silicone on mine and that fixed it.

Wrap Eterabond around a pencil, and clean the Inside of your splice area, have enough Eternabond to cover Both sides and the bottom, unroll and smooth out! This is to be placed on the INSIDE of the Gutter, otherwise it will leak in the area where you Cant apply! Youroo!! Total amount of Eternabond needed,2 strips 1" wide by 2-1/2 long, this will do BOTH sides!
