Rear receiver for bike rack

Hello, I'm looking to mount a receiver on the back of a 2015 32rl. My dealer is of no help on this. I know it was an option on this model, there are two plates welded on the frame with bolt holes installed. Does anyone have this option or know brand/part # ? Thanks.

You are better off without the factory receiver as it is rated for 50# according to those that have one. A local hitch shop is a better bet.

Duckogram is correct the Factory receiver is not good for anything really, Any bike rack that will fit into the class II receiver is likely to bounce all over the place.

I must have a better hitch on the back of my 29RL Silverback. Mine has a 150 pound capacity.

My 2015 29 RE Silverback has the same sticker on the hitch as Oakman's. 150 lb capacity. We carry 2 bikes. Seems to be fine. I typically run a bungee cord from one of the bikes to the ladder to act a a shock absorber to reduce any wiggle.
I think the hitch is intended for bike racks, not towing. A capacity of 150 lbs should be sufficient for that purpose. I wouldn't put a platform with a generator on it, but for bikes it works.

You can also get a receiver hitch mounted to the frame. E-trailer has RV receiver hitches that can simply be bolted to the frame. Just measure what width you need.

Have a fabrication shop add a receiver. Here are some kits:

Ditto -- 150 lb limit per the sticker on my 2014 29RE. I haven't used it ... put one bike in the bed of the pickup and the other lays on the bed when we're moving.

I have used mine and it shows the 150 lbs limit and it worked fine. I drove 6000 miles this past summer with two adult mountain bikes. While there is bounce because i noticed paint wear on the bike frames just make sure everything is really tight and buy a quality bike rack.
