Receiver

Has anyone had a receiver installed? I'm thinking about adding one of those racks to carry DW's exerciser.

You mean like on the rear frame/bumper? Doing so will void your frame warranty.

If it ain't there already, your rear frame ain't designed for it. The I beams in these current models do not have much reserve strength.. Some units have a rear rack that are specifically design to hold a load on the back...

The answer is yeah but...
I have the factory 2". Probably the last one. They are 1.5's now. If your dealer can't/won't, I suggest you send "mikey" a PM. As far as voiding the warranty... I don't think so. It's a Cedar Creek.
What you can't do is tow with it. That will
cause consternation.
If all the above does not get you where you want to be, I suggest you call the folks in Shipshe for a remedy. I'm almost certain that the folks at Interstate RV can do it for you with CC blessings.
Hope this helps.

I have had a receiver on the back of my tt flagstaff when I had it.
Lets just say that it last one trip and off it came.
The rack bounced so violently that it ruined the back of my trailer.

Unless its a factory installed rack I'd run very very far from this idea.

Turbs, Turbs, Turbs,

Newer Creeks don't have no "stinking tube" bumper. Receivers are frame mounted.
I had a Curt bumper mount on my Bullet and it bounced the bikes severely.
No bounce with this one however I did do some permanent shimming.

A rear receiver

Apparently, a 1 1/2" receiver is available from FR for the CC. Therefore, it will not void the warranty. That means I can have one that size installed anywhere without warranty interference. I want to be able to use a platform cargo carrier.

You are assuming facts not in evidence. It may be "available" as a replacement for those that came with it originally. If you think it won't void the warranty, you should get that in writing from FR, or have a dealer do it and make sure they understand that you don't want them to void the warranty.

X2. Unless you know your model is identical, which it well may be, I would make SURE it is designed for the additional add on and weight...
