Smile Remote control - set up and sync

Can someone please tell me how to set up and sync the remote control for my CC. I picked it up this weekend for the first time in over a year but cannot figure out how to sync it my RV. So far all I can get it to do is open or close the awning but even that takes several presses of the awning button.
According to the instructions on the back of the remote transmitter I should be switching on the panel and getting a yellow light then switching on the transmitter to start the sync process. What is the panel they are referring to?
I don't seem to be able to get the leveling system, the lights or the slides to operate.
Any advice would be most welcome.

Thanks

The instructions are on the back of the remote. (at least they were 4 yrs ago). You need to get to the receiver which should be behind your batteries and in the front garage. There you will find the sync butyon and the amber led.

Thanks, I'll give that a try when I get back to the trailer. It was the location of the receiver I was struggling with. Once I can track that down and get the flashing amber light it mentions on the back of the transmitter I should be able to work out the remainder.

Appreciate the help.

If it is a 38fl the controller is located inside the left side storage on the bulk head wall behind the wet docking station.

Thanks gents. I'll take a look later this week and see if I can figure this out.

I found it easier to push the button with the eraser end of a good old fashioned pencil.
