Residential fridge

Our CC 36 CKTS comes with a residential fridge. When we asked the dealer how many batteries came with it, they said two. Is two enough?

No - you are supposed to have 4 6-volt batteries

Ours had it right on the invoice and in the batter box area it shows the diagram.

Ours came with 4 batteries, as required. Since it is a dealer installed item, some dealers try to cheap out! Don't let them get away with it!

We found out yesterday that our CC 36CKTS is built and ready for transport. We are so excited! I will be bringing my iPad with all of your replies about the batteries if the dealer still says two batteries.

Our Dealer said "two"

We have ordered a 38FL w/residential fridge for delivery mid May. Our dealer when asked how many betteries said they install two. But is that 2 6 volt or 2- 12 volt. Didn't think to ask!! After a little research it appears that 4- 6 volt batteries can have more amp hours than 2- 12 volt. After reading this thread I will NOT let the dealer cheap out with 2 batteries if it requires 4. A thousand thanks for everyone's input!!!

2015 CC 38FL Touring (delivered 5-2014)
Days camping 2014 - Probably 75 or more.

We don't have to travel far to pick up our CC36CKTS. Just to Tom Johnson in Concord, NC. Plan on camping right there the first night, so they can tweak anything that's not right. Went on line for PDI lists. The lists we have found so far are very long so staying the night might be a good thing!

Thats good, you are close. Staying close to the dealer for a couple of nights is a good idea. Good Luck !

We picked up our new 38CK in Elkhart last week. The residential refrigerator does require 4 6volt batteries. Traded in our 36RE. Love the 2014 much better.
