Wow, would it restart? A few hours really sounds short. Like I've said, 14 hours and no problem, one 12v battery...

I'd likely say you have an issue.
My boss has a residential fridge with one group 27 battery, after ten hours it gets low but not dead.
Is your charge line from your tv working?

When I bring my RV home for the next trip I am going to let it just run off of battery (no shore power charge, no tv) and see how long it runs...

I would suggest you check all your connections to your inverter and battery to make sure all are tight. If something is loose it could shut down and will not auto restart.

When you unplug the fridge do you rep lug and turn on inverter right away and then find it off again in several hours? Or do you have to wait some time before you can use it again? It seems if it comes right back on and then runs for several hours that you may have another issue than charge capacity, just saying...

First they thought it was the TV but checked it . All ok. Then thought it was the inverter. Now they tell me it is because the trailer calls for 4-6volts and they only installed 2-12 volt.

I don't buy it.
I'd get a second opinion.

Don't buy it either, inverter senses proper voltage both the same here. Current storage level is not available to the inverter. Both setups are sufficient for the task at hand.
