There was a sticker on the wall of the battery compartment that showed the proper battery hookup diagram.

Just ordered a 36ckts yesterday at the Tulsa RV show. The one that they had at the show had 4 6volt batteries installed. The sticker stating that 4 6volt are required and showing the correct cable configuration was not in the compartment, or it was behind the batteries and not visible.

Me and the DW bought the 2015 36ckts . It has a label on the inside of the battery door showing 4-6 volt batteries and how they should be installed.

My label is on the back wall of the battery compartment, so you cannot see it when the batteries are in the compartment.

The only success I had was upgrading to a 2000 watt inverter. What batteries and set up I used didn't matter except to change the length of time the fridge would run when dry camping.

Sterlingsilver, are you saying that you had a problem with the fridge running trouble free with the standard 1000 watt inverter? Guess I don't understand why you needed to upgrade to a 2000 watt.

I have a 1,000 watt inverter in my camper and it's not the inverter that's the problem. My batteries aren't the best, I think I'm going to have to change the batteries. I have four six volt batteries but they are only 105amp each. I plan to check them out on a little three week trip soon.
