All 4 should be hooked up. Two pairs of batteries connected in series, then the pairs connected in parallel for your 12 volt system. There is only one charger in there, so it's only one battery system.

One other thing. On mine, I have two sets of cables leaving the battery area. One set goes to the inverter, and the other set goes to the rest of the trailer's 12 volt system, including the charger. Those two pairs of cables need to be connected together at the batteries.

Can I fit the Whirlpool 18CF in the same hole as the RM1350 without major reconstruction? Also, any idea of cost of Whirlpool 18CF, inverter and 4-6V batteries. Definitely could use the 5CF extra. I am a self employed caterer and cant get out of the cooking mode to minimize my refer capacity. Steve

Oops. I guess I didn't do a good job on reading comprehension! Sorry Steve! Can you fit the Whirlpool in the same space as the absorption refer? I'll let you be the judge of that. It doesn't look like a good fit to me. The cost? Sears has it for $706.97. The Dimensions for the 13cf absorption refer are:
63 3/16 high x 32 3/4 wide x 26 1/16 deep
The dimensions for the Whirlpool refer are:
67.375" high x 28" wide x 30.375" deep

Keep in mind the "effective depth" of a 1350 is between 14=16". The Whirlpool is much greater, without all that plumbing in the back therein lies the reason for much more cubic.

@wire1946. The diagram below should be roughly how you need to connect things. The two feeds going to the xantrex and the 12 volt panel can be connected at either end of the red and black cables shown. I have shown each connected to a different end, but they don't have to be.

2014 Georgetown 378XL residential refrig
I just purchased a Georgetown 378xl with a residential refrigerator. It came with two coach batteries. The refrigerator is fully electric.
We will drydock on average twice a year for 30 days each. I bought two Honda 2000 generators to charge batteries.
Do I need anything additional to run my refrigerator during drydock times?

I have a 2013 Georgetown xl378
My coach batteries will power the refridge for 3 to 4 hours only.
If yours are like mine they will ned to be charged up by then.
Too bad Forrest River doesn't install larger banks of batteries.
We love our motorhome but are a little disappointed on the batteries. But we mostly stay hooked up to shore power.

When I purchased my 2008 37RDQS new, after I got it home I saw it only had one battery. In the battery compartment there was a lard label that stated the 5er needed 4 of the 6v batteries installed. Back to the dealer and he changed them out, no questions or arguments. The batteries hold my fridge (18cf residential) for days without charge, even after 5 years.

You should have a wiring diagram in the battery compartment. It's conveniently located behind the batteries on my unit. LOL

My batteries are wired in series/parallel. It's the best way to go for maximum operational time.
