Return vent filters

My 36B4 has two rectangle return vents in the back bedroom. They have filters that are attached to a cardboard frame. Does anyone know where I can find replacements? Or should I just cut new filter and staple it back to the cardboard. The vent is 7.5 x 13.5.

Lowes/HD both have bulk filter media. They may even have the right size.

I Googled for that size and didn't see anything.

We haven't had our 5er long enough to need replacement of the filters. I may end up having the permanent type filters made for ours. There's a place here in town that'll fabricate any size.

My last trailer had these filters and were just filter material just laying on cover. Trying to find out if they are Dometc or Forest River

Thanks, looks like I'll be cutting and saving the cardboard frame to add new material too.

I had discussed this a while back when we were considering the 36B4. Of course they discontinued it and you see what we ended up with. This is what I was going to install. I can't remember the exact size of the existing return airs, but I had found one like this that was almost an exact fit. This was going to allow a normal house type filter to be installed, easily.

Can't get their website to let me order any of these. Would be great replacements.

Textman, send a pm to life2short4nofun. They were the ones doing something similar in a 36B4. I think I remember them actually getting some. Wish I'd have kept all that info more handy.

If you are willing to put up with a larger return grille, you can buy these Accord 14-in x 14-in White Filter Grille units at Lowe's. I plan to check them out tomorrow, but this may be added to my to-do list. My return duct is 14.5" wide and is bonded to the back of the ceiling panels. This may work and it uses standard size filters.
