Roof Mount Satellite Pre-Wired

Hello everyone. I can't find the cables in that area where it's marked "Satellite" I cut the rubber roof where the 2" factory hole was drilled and I've reached down as far as my fingers will go and there's no cables. I'm sure there in there somewhere but how do I locate them??? TIA

It's a purple cable and it's probably hiding on either side of the cut out. You may need to make yourself a little fish wire with a hook and see if you reach in and snag it.

So I found the cable. I looks like they ran 2 cables to 4 location with each of the 2 cables (2 cables = 4 ends) and I guess they are meant to be cut to create for ends at the roof?

I have wires with no ends. I've pulled pretty hard and it wont budge. I'm thinking there's got to be an end of the wire in there somewhere but it's stuck on something.

On my Cardinal, they ran a single cable from the bedroom satellite outlet to the living room satellite outlet. Essentially it looped from the outlet to the roof to the outlet. It had to be cut, and terminated, on the roof, providing a home run to each location.

well I got up there and pulled a little harder and wala, the rest of the cable came out. So it's a single loop that goes from the living room to the bedroom. Now all I have to do is decide with which dish I want. Thanks everyone for all your help.

I use the mobile King Quest that I place where I need it, and it auto-tracks in. We like shady spots, but with those spots satellite reception can be spotty to none. Unless you happen to get shady with a good southern view of the sky. In the open can get too much sun and make it harder to cool or sit outside.

Mine is removal if I need to move it to a better location. Best of both worlds IMO.

Posting pics on this site is not that difficult IF you follow the instructions in post #7 of our standard “how-to” thread at http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...sics-6778.html.
