Rotating table

I was looking at the Rotating Table thats in the 38EL, wondering if a person could buy that and install in a Hathaway 38fb2?

I have it in my champagne and don't like it. The wife has not made up her mind yet. May look in to removing and replace with a free standing table after holidays. We are full timers, so all the Xmas decorations are everywhere. I would consider selling it, if I do remove it.

This is interesting, as the Champagne we recently viewed at the dealership had a completely different table (smaller and rounded); unable to rotate. It must have been a change from 2016 to 2017 models.

I think that is because they now have the outside tv.

We have the rotating table and are also considering removing it. It's a cool concept but not really that practical. The base and shelving take up too much room while the table, even with the extension, isn't big enough for four people.

Curious if yours has the outside TV, since it is a 2017.

I have a 17 without the outside tv. I Like the thought behind the table but it is not very practical if you have more then 2 people.
We are full timers and we have Xmas tree between table and power reclines. When we eat, one sits on the end by island and it is hard for the other to get their legs in under the table. You end up sitting sideways.

No, no outside TV.

Storage is ok, it's hard to get to and it doesn't have any doors to hide the stuff

We have a 38el with the rotating table. I like the storage and the fact that there is no central pedestal, but there is not enough room on the door side of the table to sit unless you are Olive Oyl. We didn't want to rotate our table so we stored the chairs at home and bought two stools for the table. We are happy with this setup because we found really comfortable stools and would use them instead of chairs even with a "normal" table, but I am sure this would not be an arrangement most would want. If you haven't already, I would recommend sitting at one of these tables before you buy.

I just looked at the brochure for the new 38el. Mine is a 2017 but evidently there is a new style 2017 which has a different style rounded table. May be in response to the tight fit of the earlier model. Just to clarify, my comments are aimed at the table with square corners not the new rounded model.

I concur with Brady. I have a 17 38el with the rotating desk table. I still don't think the rounded table will give you room for 4. Another issue is that with the cabinet at the wall you loss a foot of room

I think I will search out one, and sit at it, see what we think of it. Thanks
