That it was. It looks like we will have to have our next one built to order so we get what we want without "mods". We did head up your way to look at the 1172 Lance in Sefner, FL. What a disappointment that was.

We're actually up near Jacksonville. Ironically, we had just been in Seffner at Lazy Days last month as that's where we bought our CC. They had a lot of great units up there, so I'm sure you can find what you are looking for there.

If timing and all had been different, I might have bought your 5er and TV - both were nicely priced and looked so great together! I about drove myself crazy deciding if I was gonna have to get a dually before getting the CC, but I rolled the dice, kept my F250, and then got the 5er. I woulda had to trade my truck, so maybe the deal with you wouldn't have worked after all!

We just got back from weekend trip to Flamingo Lake and a BBQ festival...I'm relaxed and a few pounds heavier! Hope you can get back into the mix soon - I'm sure you miss camping already!

I towed with a F250 6.4 CC SB. It did ok but there was a lot of sway and fuel economy and range was dismal. The DRW with RSC and anti-sway solved that and the new 6.7 yielded 12.2 avg. on our 10k mi journey. I'm sure yours will do just fine.
Besides, everything seems to work out in the end.

Thanks for the feedback; things have gone well so far, so hopefully will continue to be good times. Not trying to do the 350 thing anytime soon, after just buying the CC!

Good luck on your search for the next camper, and Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I towed a few fivers over the years and can't imagine doin it w/o the training wheels on a DRW F-350. Stability, it all about stability! Won't leave home w/o them now.
