Sewer Hose Storage Length

Does anyone know how long the sewer hose compartment is?

Mine's in the bumper. Can't you just measure the bumper?

Oh wow that is pretty short. I guess the rest of the hose goes in a container in storage?

The Cedar Creek Champagne does not have bumper. It is a door in the side of the trailer.

Then can't you just stick a tape measure into the compartment to measure it? The hose does collapse.

I don't have the trailer yet. It is on order 6-7 weeks out. I am just trying to decide which sewer hose to get. Someone said it was 3 foot deep so I guess I will put some in the basement storage. Thanks.

Most have bumper and that is 8 feet at least that's average....some add Pvc and mount under rig to help prevent rust...

The Rhino-Flex 15 ft hose (most popular), will collapse down to around 3 ft.

Cedar Creek does not have a bumper. I brought a container from Walmart to keep my hose in

I have the sewer hose that couples together. I put one in the sewer hose compartment. One link fits perfect. Mine is on the side of the coach about 4 feet off the ground. I keep my regular use hose in a container with the 90 degree. The only time I pull the hose from the sewer hose compartment is when I need additional length. One link shrinks down fine to fit into the compartment.

sewer hose storage

Top
The original tube was 3' long and Rhino-Flex would not fit in.

Bottom
Fence post cover is 6' long.
Rhino-Flex lays in rain gutter.

I have a Rhino-flex 15' and a 10' extension, normally only use the 15'. We keep them in a "Steriilite" container in the front hold. We add a splash of Pine-Sol and a 1/2 gal of water. When we arrive at the next site the hoses are nice and clean.

That built in sewer hose holder is useless. Haven't found anything I have that will fit inside it it. Works about as good as the junk built-in vac.

That option of creating a fitting for a tube under the rv is the best option in my humble opinion. Keeps it out of the way. No odors inside from Mr Stinky.

I have to agree on the sewer hose holder, but the wife likes the built in vac. She also uses a rechargeable vac.

I have two Rubber Maid containers that hold my sewer hose and black water flush hose. The containers also hold the clear plastic straight adapter and 45Deg elbow, along with the sewer hose support. I have the Rhino Flex Sewer hose, 10 foot long hose assemblies with end caps, three of them. I have found the connectors do not fit in the onboard storage compartment so, that is why I have the plastic storage bins. I have a spare sewer hose with no connections on the ends in the onboard storage compartment.

I have one plastic container that I got from Walmart to store my sewer hose support plus the the Rhino Flex Sewer hose. I use my outside shower hose hooked up to the black water tank flush, we never use the outside shower. I have a back flow preventer on that hose. I have 25 feet of sewer hose plus ten more feet that I just brought at Walmart for the rally
