Shower Head

Has anybody replaced the factory shower head, if so what did you replace it with. Thinking about replacing it with oxygenics. Give me some reviews with what you did.

Thanks I guess that pretty much sums it up. I will order one and get it put in before the next road trip.

As I'm prone to do, I'll point out that Oxygenics is a brand. It makes about a dozen or so models. Only two are RV-specific. I encourage people to be specific about what model they use, as it is more helpful to people.

The Oxygenics Fury gets good reviews. The Oxygenics Body Spa is, I believe, a bit cheaper, but also gets great reviews. I haven't used either. The other Oxygenics models, such as those you can find at big box home stores, are residential and may not work great in your RV.

Good luck.

Hmmm, took look just now at my local store (Wixom MI). They list 5 models, 1 handheld (in stock). Not the one I bought. The one on the web is a 10 function... Maybe I got lucky? Maybe they will special order the RV version?

Well I bought an Oxygenics and hated it.
The hose was stiff as a cheap garden hose in January.
The shutoff dribbles all the time by design!
When we camped off the grid that dribble wasted water and made my water pump run every couple seconds. BRRR pause BRRR pause UGH!
I sold it on Ebay and was glad to be rid of it.

I got an Ecocamel jetstorm with shut off and flex hose. We LOVE it.
The hose is limp as a wet noodle. The shutoff actually SHUTS OFF. The air injection makes the somewhat low water pressure on pump mode feel like a normal shower.

4 years later we're still happy!

How does the Ecocamel fit into the existing shower head holder found in most trailers? Or did you have to mount a specific one for that shower head?

It fits my original holder a bit loose but works fine. I added a 2nd holder about 12" lower down because I wanted to reach it while sitting on our shower seat. I used 3m double sided auto trim tape and no drilling. It's been hanging in there for 4 years.
FYI they sell the shower head and super flex hose and push button shut off separately. You'll want all 3.
We do camp off the grid on occasion and the no dribble shut off is great. Also love the flex hose.

I too am disappointed with the oxygenics RV model. It is not a shower like other heads but resembles water being spit out unequally.

I also switched to oxygenics bodyspa. The only complaint I have is with the lifetime warranty, I had the shutoff button come apart, it was going to cost me $22 for a replacement under warranty for shipping and "fee's".
From FAN FI Inc. " All warranty claims made after 30 days of purchase will be responsible for a shipping and handling fee for the replacement part"
