Silverback - 20-6770-3 : SILVERBACK COLLECTION PACKAGE
OK, so I am still trying to understand. There is a line item on the invoice for the Silverback 29RE:
"20-6770-3 : SILVERBACK COLLECTION PACKAG" for $2,102.
What is that? The sales person I talked to did not know.

It sounds like the mandatory options package or a "free" options package. On the website, look at the Silverback Explorer Package. Is that also on the invoice? Was there a sign on the dining table with a list of "free" items.
On edit, I found a list at couchsrvnation on a 37BH.
Silverback Collection Pkg - Whisper Quiet Air Conditioning System with Residential Ducting
- Dirt Devil central vacuum system
- Trump Home Luxury Queen mattress
- Upgraded cabinetry hardware
- Upgraded faucets in kitchen and bathroom
- Bathroom countertop
- Additional storage cabinetry in bathroom
- Surround for bedroom TV
- LED lighting under awning
- Upgraded lighting package
- Outdoor batter compartment for 3 batteries
- Jenson Blue Tooth Stereo System

2016 Silverback 29RE model. Both items listed on the "MSRP" invoice sheet
20-6770-3 Silverback Collection Package - $2,102
20-6743-1 Silverback Explorer Package - $5,075
Looks like mandatory-optional packages.

I just bought a 2016 Silverback 33IK don't know what option package it has but this thing is loaded out. All of the above plus more. I can tell you that Trump mattress is nicer than the one in my house that I paid over 3 grand for, and the 6 point level up system is the stuff.

The wife and I are planning on selling or trading in our Flagstaff 8528BHSS for the Silverback 29RE or the 31RK. I'm glad we waited because the 16 Silverbacks have some really nice upgrades. The 16's are now called Silverback Editions I believe. Any recommendations on options to order with our Silverback would be appreciated. Thanks

No more shoveling, just one. Look into the heat pump option for zone one. Saves having to use small heaters on those chilly night that don't drop below 40 to 45 degrees. Also saves on propane

Yup Gitiup, I use my fireplace to take the chill off in the am if its too cool in the camper. We were recently camped in Durango, CO (about 7000). It got down in the low 50s at night and that little fireplace heater felt good in the morning while I drank my first cup of joe. Got into the 80s during the day, so I didn't have my thermostat on Auto to save propane. Left it on Cool and used the fireplace in the mornings.

Could not agree more on the fireplace, have that also. I am sure this thread could be taken over with this subject as there are many already on heat pumps. We camp a lot during the spring and fall. (spring and fall runs of steelhead and salmon) The heat pump will heat the entire unit without having to turn on or off the fireplace. For the cost of less then $500 originally it just made since to me. Do not have to use propane and am not taxing a circuit when using the fireplace or a small heater in the bedroom, that always seem to be on the same circuit as the receptacle in the kitchen that has the coffee pot connected along with the microwave and TV. LOL

We just ordered a 2016 33IK. The "new Items/amenities" of the Cedar Creek Silverback Edition are in the attached document. The pamphlet shows the newest paint scheme and the interior of a 29IK, you'll have to interpolate for your floor plan(s). I'm glad we waited for this model.....

That looks sweet, I still like the bear on the front. Big Duke you will like how the 33IK functions, other then a refrigerator issue, that we hope is solved, it is great.

Thanks BigDuke the 2016's are awesome they really look nice. Now we just have to decide which model. I really like the 29RE but I also like the idea of the 31RK with the kitchen in the rear. Decisions Decisions !

Just brought home the 31RK Friday. Hoping to go on a trip this weekend to try her out. Our previous unit was a rear kitchen and we wanted to stay with that floor plan.

Thanks mbienve is it a 2016 or 15 model. If it's a 16 any chance of posting some photos. I really like the 31RK as the kitchen area is much bigger than the 29RE but we like both models a lot.

We also looked at the 31rk and the 29re, took weeks to decide, both were the same price. My only concern was the weight difference so we went with the 29re. Did I have second thoughts? yea a couple of times but we are very happy with the 2016 re and my 2012 2500HD Chev. pulls it just fine though I did add air lift to the rear. What ever unit you choose good luck. I'm sure you will be happy with a Silverback.

#RGG4429 - 2016 Forest River Cedar Creek Silverback 31RK for sale in Scott LA
Here are the dealer pictures of my unit. It is very spacious with the two opposing slides. My wife was worried that there was less storage then our previous model (Laredo 29RK), but we got everything in that we needed to.
