wls ... you didn't miss anything buying when you did. The "solar" option is more of a marketing ploy. It may have the potential to charge a cell phone battery, but wouldn't cut it to maintain your house batteries should you have any major draw on them. 40 - 80 watts is a pretty weak charging system. Most solar installs I have seen are in the 300 - 400 watt plus setup.

Literature I got with unit says 200 watt.have ran for 12 hours.on residential fridge with batteries still showing full. (Direct sun)

I want to install solar on my Cedar Creek, I want to install four panels. My four six volt batteries will run my residential refrigerator for four days, just on battery power. I'm going to the factory next month and I want to see where the wire is ran.

Do not think they did solar prep on your rig I maybe wrong .Check with forest river.angela is great!

Cedar Creek did not prep my 15 Creek for solar, I just want to find out where I can run the cable. The factory is replacing my front cap
