Hi everyone,
New member here. Wifey and 2 dogs. We are looking at a Silverback 29re. Own 3 year old f250 diesel.
The largest dealer around here is Funtown in Cleburne Texas.
Has anyone recently bought from them, or had service done, where you could share your experience. If you are not comfortable posting, could you please send me private message. Thank you.

We bought from them in Jan 2014. No issues with the sales aspect of it. The only issue we had was the rig we wanted was in the indoor showroom and they had just rotated stock, so we had to wait about 3.5 weeks until the rotated again to pick it up. Had some small warranty issues that they took care of in Jan 2015. The rig was with them for about 6 weeks waiting on parts (seems to be the norm). However, they did let me pick it up and use it a couple times while they were waiting for the parts. My personal experience was positive.

Cannot tell you about the dealer.

You will want the 2nd a/c.
My next one will have auto level.
Air ride hitch if pulling much and probably air bags on the truck.

I like my 29 RE.

I looked at their stock but bought elsewhere. The invoice listed the packages from Forest River and the listed items already included in the package as extra charges on top of the packages. Easy to check just go to Cedar Creek website. They also goosed the delivery fee up to almost $3,000 even though other dealer was quoting $1500-$1700. I think all this was to make their discount look bigger but I ended up paying less for my CC Silvervack 31RK elsewhere. It turned me off. They are the highest volume dealer in the U.S. In total units all brands.

I purchased my 2015 on December 31st 2014 from Funtown Houston. Shopped them and competitively had them bid a price on my current 5er. They blew everyone away in Texas no one came even close to purchase price and treated us very well on our trade. If I was to buy again I would definitely look again at Funtown Houston. Have not had any experience with warranty work since I have tackled all the small jobs myself. One of the easiest RV purchases I have ever made and this is our 6th one.

Bought Cedar Creek in March. Fun Town great sales people. Brought rig in for warrantee work in June. After over 30 days in shop the big items were not complete. We're trying to work it out but; they are not very good at keeping in touch. Other than that they are a great shop.

We bought a 2015 Windjammer from Funtown in Cleburne,Texas in January. Good sales experience and have had one warranty claim in which they quickly fixed. Can't complain about them, all positive experience here.

Had similar experience as Rollingdunder. Great sales experience at Funtown in Cleburne. Warranty work a different story.

Ditto. I get my warranty work done at the factory or at FROG big rally.

We looked at them when we bought our last trailer but opted for another brand.

As in most things I would strongly suggest a buyer beware attitude especially in this process.

Good sales experience there, but have not had any work done on the trailer since I bought it in March 2015. I bought a Freedom Express 248RBS.

Bought our Windjammer 3011 from Funtown in Cleburne. No issues. They seem to be very service oriented.

Tom - We also purchased a 38RD. Lovely rig. The wiring bundle running thu the street side wheel well drops down and the wires get tattered. Fun Town did not have a fix. Have you encountered this and if so, how did you remedy?

Interesting. I have this same problem. Working with Jeff Holmes at Cedar Creek. Now that someone else has the same problem I will let him know. I have not heard back from him. He had worked with me on two other issues. I tie wrap the swing arm up every time I head out. I am looking at other options like maybe doing away with the rubber swing arm and attaching springs in place of the arm or securing the swing arm in the middle to the underside of the slide. Will keep you posted. I love the 38rd we have enjoyed the coach. We love the floor plan. Have had only two issues so far the shade above the dinning room table metal arms for frame broke replaced with shade from factory. Then wiring on inverter. You might check out my post on that the sticker in the battery compartment is wrong and should conform to my post picture which came from the factory. Would be interested if you have had any other issues.

Thanks. Guess, for now, I'll get more zip ties. I'll look for your post regarding the batteries/inverter.
