Got it. Now I just have to find out if there are any tanks in that location. I think the galley tank might be, but I don't think it's snug up against the i-beam. I'd just have to be VERY careful, or put a stop block on the drill bit to prevent it from going more than 3/8" of an inch or something.

Shoot, you want to take all the fun out of things. Ya gotta mess something up while fixing another. I thought that was the way things were done. At least for me it is. 
Fix or mod 1 thing and mess 2 others up!

I can definitely relate. Can get expensive sometimes. One incident, although I didn't mess anything up, was when I was welding the receiver hitch under the rear of our Mobile Scout fifth wheel. Talk about nervous, as there is so much flamable stuff around you. Had wet blankets and everything I could think of to prevent a fire. Got it all welded in, then went inside to check something else. Camper was full of smoke. Apparently it was far from air tight from under the fifth wheel to the inside, and half the welding smoke went inside. You can imagine the first O.S. reaction. I think my heart stopped for a minute. I looked and looked, but no fire. I think I stood fire watch for a couple of hours with the roof fan on trying to clear the smoke.

I did unload mine, but I cheated, I picked the whole side up with a forklift. OC's method works just fine, though.

Geez man. Not often you hear of that method. Either way I need to get the tires out of the way. So, thinking I'm going to do it one corner at a time, I'll take a measurement from axle to ground, jack up one wheel and remove, then adjust axle height back to original measured height. Basically simulating the loaded position it was originally in, minus the tire for room to work.

That works great also, just extend the shock to the max and mark the holes.

My only other real option is, use the level up, and try to pick all 4 wheels up off the ground. I don't know if it'll get all 4's up and clear the ground. Never tried it. You see advertisements showing it will. By using blocks I know it would for sure.
In the end, I'll try to get them mounted one way or the other, and more than likely they'll be far from perfect, which will match the rest of the RV perfectly, and I'll be happy.
