If your slide is like mine....there are 2 long rods under your slide room that have gear teeth on them. Next to the farm there is a long rod that has 2 crown gears one one each side that roll on the teeth to keep your slide moving evenly in and out. I wonder if that gearing is jammed. If someone could lift the Slidell and down, back and forth then have another person to push the in slide button you may be able to unjam it if that is the problem. Just a thought. I think your problem is mechanical and not hydraulic or electical. Hopefully my explanation is understandable. I would send a picture if I new how to post on this thing.

Yea, it is not a switch, it is a valve that has to be turned unless on your RV it is different.

Clucking sounds like a gear slipping but you said the other sides come in and out fine. There may be something jamming that slide and the hydraulic pump gears are clucking. I guess I would not try that to many times.

Why don't you have someone try to put it in as you try giving it a shove from outside? Sounds like it is stuck.

On another note, if you do have a switch the pump may just be loading down because it is done moving the sides that are on. The pressure will build and maybe if you continue the pump is clucking due to overload.

Other slides go in fine, but have noticed they are going in slower this time around. Lights dim, pump makes a clicking sound.

I could do it manually with power drill and quarter inch hex bit to get it in, to reduce further damage?

Sounds like you may have a battery issue. Is the slide that is not coming in the largest slide on your RV? Could be you just don't have the power to handle the load? Try jumping the battery or changing it out..

If you are plugged into shore power, is you battery disconnect switch on or off? Your slides won't work right on shore power only.

According to instrument panel, battery showing full charge, had converter replaced few years back. Not sure how accurate this reading is without testing battery.

Battery disconnect switch is on position. I remember a few years back lights dimmed under a load, replaced converter all was good. It as during summer when we ran ac, lights, etc.

If your battery disconnect is switched to disconnect, the instrument panel battery meter will read converter 12v only. Not enough power to operate slides.

Last slide to go in is the big slide. Slide in bedroom goes in first, then two living room slides which are the same size.

Stoker, Try this.. Push the battery test button and at the same time push the slide button.. See what the battery level LEDs do. When you check it static there is no load and I'm not sure how accurate they are anyway.

If the LEDs drop down significantly then your battery voltage is dropping due to a load issue and you just don't have the juice ( current) from the battery you need..

Stoker, Lets just review where we are or where I think you are..

Shore power connected...
50 amp shore power breaker on...
Battery disconnect switch in compartment on...
New or not to old battery...

It just concerns me that your lights dim and the pump clucks.. Reminds me of trying to turn a starter over in a car with a bad or weak battery..

One more thing.. Check the connection to your battery posts.. Make sure they are tight and clean... Sorry if I'm being a pest but I'd like to get you closed up and sometime we overlook the simple things..

Rite, everything u listed a go. The lights is what makes me think a battery issue as well. Just out of curiosity, what is average life span for a battery. My unit is 6 years old, and has been stationary. Minus the factory battery, thus is the first one I've replaced
