When did you replace it? Have you maintained the water, etc...
Is it plugged in when stationary?

Replaced a few years back, when I close it up I bring battery home and put it on my work bench off the floor. Not going to lie on this one, no and no. Guess I need to get a trickle charger for it and do better pms.

Actually 12:30am in Florida...lol
I think tomorrow you should yank the battery and have it tested. If it is good but in need of a charge I might suspect the converter again. Get a good charged battery and try your slide again.. Hopefully that is your issue..

Will do buddy. Appreciate your time and effort. One more thing, would bad battery cause a converter to go bad or vise versa?

Few years back, probably tired battery. I'm always amazed when I have a battery issue. "I just replaced that thing!" And then I look at the install date and it was 3-4 years ago...
Let us know what you find out.. If needed we will try another tact...
You might find this useful. The manual for Lippert ...

I'm not an expert on converters. I'm sure others will chime in but I could see a bad battery causing a converter to work hard trying to charge it...

Agree, I'm not an expert either that's why I'm on this site. Cant do anything till the weekend, as our trailer is south of us here in kansas city. Luck would have it it's supposed to rain and what not.

Well I guess rain is not a problem unless it freezes ...
I'm a Florida boy born and raised so I always watch the winterizing posts and am glad it is nothing I need to worry about. Now, hurricanes are another issue...

If the pump runs using the hex bit won't do any good. You use that when the pump won't run. Same goes for checking the battery. The problem sounds like it is in the slide not the pump or battery.

Did not know this thank u. What about the dimming lights and the other two slides more or less dragging when they go in? Went to local dealer and he said all I have is two hydraulic lines that go to the slides to control the ram.

One continuos loop feeds all slides unless you have the IRC manifold. They go in and out based on resistance, thus the biggest heavy slide is last in/out. Have the battery checked. It is 3+ years old. Easy to eliminate as the problem.

Yes at least, my setup consists of one button running in all slides, but have switches on manifold to turn them on or off, was told converter may be going out as well.

Forget about what you are told...Don't start shotgunning parts at it because someone thinks that could be the problem. Easy to test your battery or swap batteries with your car or truck to see if that eliminates the problem. Will cost you nothing to try. It's possible your battery is too weak to bring in the last slide. If a different battery won't do it and you are sure the correct valve is open, call in a mobile repair service. Sorry, it costs $$ to own and maintain an RV. If you've tried about everything you can think of to make it work before you start throwing parts at it have it checked out. If you don't do it now it will still have the same problem in the Spring. I wouldn't think of leaving the slide out all Winter.

Will get battery checked. Not sure how accurate instrument panel is, but it is showing full charge for battery. Beings pump works, guess it narrows it down to battery, converter, or slde possibly jammed. Chime in if I have missed anything

Don't plan on leaving slde out, can't get to it till this weekend though. Just trying to narrow it down to the possibilities. Thanks again.

Lots of things will work off of a weak battery. The big slide running off the hydraukic pump probably requires more current than anything else. Try another battery that you know ids good. The gauges and meters they put in these things are next to worthless don't count on them for much
