Slide issue

Went to winterize fifth wheel, all goes well for the first time in a while until we bring slides in, all but one slide goes in, living room slide. Battery on instrument panel shows fully charged. Just clicks and lights in living room dim. Dealer claims low battery or bad converter. Slides run off one switch. Had battery and converter replaced few years back when lights dimmed and battery wouldn't hold charge. Dealer said it was OK to leave slides out during winter . My concerns are weight of snow on slide, critters getting in, leaking past rubber seals and damaging slide topper with weight of snow. Trailer is stationary at rv park. Thoughts and opinions please.

I would not leave the slide out during the winter.

Now can you plug into shore power and bring the slide in? I have never used just my battery to move the slides in/out, I am always plugged into shore power. My two pervious 5er's required shore power to move the slides and I just carried this over to my CC 34RL. Also make sure that the switch in the service bay is not turned off to move in the living room slide.

Hope this helps?

Are these Swchintech electric slides or hydraulic slides? I just had my electric slide motor replaced because of a problem with one of the motors.

Have to get 5star hex bit and drill, tried to Google it, not enough information, especially since I'm not mechanically inclined

Would hydraulic motor be bad? All three slides run off one switch and same motor, just throwing ideas out.

Did notice hydraulic pump was leaking a little bit, the research I did today told me lippert had recall on these pumps because of bad o ring issues. Was wondering if this would cause slide not to go in, agree on not leaving slides out, local dealer said the same thing. They told me I have two hoses that run the ram in and out, my reservoir is half full. They also told me that my battery and converter are good, if other two slides go in then, then this isn't problem. Like always, manuals give very little info on these issues. I also have switches in compartment that turn off slides, will check to see if it got turned off while winterizing.

Did you try bringing other slides back out? If they still work it is something wrong with that one slide. If they don't work I would check battery cables to see if loose or corroded.

This may be a silly question but do you have individual room (or slide) control manifold? On my 33IK I have 3 knobs on a manifold that will allow me to stop the hydraulic flow to any slide I want. I assume you do not have this as you would have had to turn the knob to close the flow of hydraulic fluid to that one room.

From you description it sounds like the hydraulic line is plugged or closed? as the the lights dim. Do you hear the motor bogging down?

Possibly, was winterizing, dealer said I have a switch for each slide, may have hit switch not knowing, still curious why it made clucking noise though.
