Unhappy Smoke detector

2013 36RE smoke alarm was placed just outside bath room door.
Every time we use the stove top to fry on the front burner the alarm will go off.
I have replaced the original and the first time we cooked, with the new alarm went off.
The next time we cooked the alarm went off and so on and so on.

So who has the reason and more important the cure of this problem.

Food's done!

I'm assuming the stove is close to the bathroom. Sensor is in a bad spot or you aren't using the stove vent. I once had one that had to be opened from the outside.

After removing the battery to cook several times, I made a "cap" for mine - covered with red tape, so I won't leave it on after cooking. Posted (post #15) in another (old) thread: Overly sensitive smoke detector
This continues to work well for me - haven't awakened my wife with the alarm while I'm cooking breakfast since making it!

Our smoke alarm goes off every time we turn the stove on! So we just take the battery out first, cook what ever, then put the battery back.

My was over the sink area next to the stove, I moved it back to the bed area and has worked fine every since.
