Soft Top Storm Door

I have a 2016 36CKTS Hathaway Cedar Creek. It did not come with the storm door window (which makes it a screen door rather than storm door). Dealer say does not come standard, must order window. Did anyone's 2016 36CKTS come with the window.

My 2012 36 CKTS came with an upper and lower window for the door.

My 2016 33IK came with the removable plastic window covers as well. Look at the door frame and see if there are small clips that rotate that would hold the window covers in place. If so ... maybe some other unit needed them before you took possesion of it. Any CC fiver I've looked at on any lot has the window covers on the screen door.

My door does have the clips. I have a call into the factory rep to see if I can get them.

They are standard on cc. Look at the brochure. Your dealer needs to get them.

My 33IK was supposed to have the inserts but they were missing. I called Henry Sears at the factory and he sent them to me. It's an easy install.

I don't want to highjack this thread, but this sounds like a good idea. I want a storm door on our travel trailer this fall. But I also wanted to be able to remove the "glass" and still have a screen door.
Could someone post a picture of the clips? I would like to try getting something like this. Thanks!

Have 2016 31rk and standard part of screen door. Would have a word with your dealer or at the minimum let FR know two things one their out the door quality control is a bit lacking and then about the honesty of the dealership.

Does anyone know the manufacturer of the "Soft Top" storm door on the Cedar Creeks or maybe know a source for the vinyl material they are made from?....Our 2014 fifth wheel is now out of warranty.....I have a problem with the vinyl slipping out from under the spline....I'm now on my 2nd set of panels...First time it happened the factory sent me a new set of panels under warranty, but now it's happened again....any help would be appreciated.

I replaced my clear vinyl with thin pieces of plexiglass.

Thanks....after posting the thread, I found the sticker on my door and this is the company and series of door that I have ....waiting on a return call from their parts representative now.

Just another follow-up on these storm window panels....Challenger door rep has replied to my email and advised that the vinyl material can be purchase from them....thought I would add this to this thread for anyone that might be interested.....
