Spare tire standard?

Purchased our CC Hathaway about a year and a half ago.

We were in a rest area below the street. I could not see a spare on our fiver. I really think we had one. Are they not standard?

Checked it out this morning. The spare carrier looks unused!

Cannot imagine a thief steeling a spare and then winding the cable back up?

Believe it or not, they're not standard. The dealer either has to order it as an option or add it after delivery to them.

At any rate, I'd suggest purchasing one asap.

X2 on a dealer installed item. Many times they will scavenge one from a unit in order to add it to another TT on condition of purchase. You may try contacting the dealer and see if he will provide one but it is something you should have available.

Definitely not standard on units with more than one axle. I had to buy a carrier and mounted tire. I don't know about single axle trailers.

Make sure the wheel has the same hole spacing!

I believe they are standard on the Cedar Creek trailers. Not all trailer manufacturers may offer the spare tire as standard and you will need to older one.

All of the 5ER's that I have owned have had the spare tire as standard equipment either mounted on the rear bumper or underneath mounted on a tire carrier.

My Cedar Creek 34RL has the spare tire underneath mounted on a tire carrier. In fact I am looking at a brochure for the Cedar Creek Hathaway edition and it shows the spare tire mounted underneath on a trailer. I also have the optional order sheet for my year of trailer and there is no option to order a spare tire on that sheet.

I would go back to your dealer and have them provide you with a spare tire, you need this!

I suspect it grew legs recently.

We are on vacation 1200 miles from home.

Etrailer has the exact tire and wheel combination for less than $300.

Donít think I could get a better deal here.

We are in Houston for a month.

Itís only money!

Ours Has One

Our 2020 CC Hathaway 34IK came with the spare standard. It's mounted underneath. Dealer called CC and confirmed it was included.

Any decent tire shop can get you the tire you want and a trailer rim to go with it. It would be great to match the other wheels, but it doesn't really need to. Just the same size.

Likely simpler and cheaper than going through a dealer.
