Spring Shakedown

We made our spring shakedown run this weekend. It was cool, rainy, and event free.

DW enjoyed her time in front of the new fireplace.

New Ram TV was a great experience. Set on the Interstate and loped along at 1,700 RPM to run 67 MPH. The exhaust brake was better than expected for our down the mountain trek. Only touched the brakes twice as we approached sharp turns, the exhaust brake handled all the rest.

DW normally does not like coming back down the mountain, but today she set in her seat and played solitaire on her iPad and never said a word... that was worth the cost of the truck!

Glad you have a great trip and that your DW was more relaxed on the downhill runs.

Congrats on getting your season started. I'll take cool & rainy over cold and snowy anyday!
