Storage possibilities

Hi,
I have a 2016 Cedar Creek 36CK2 with a king size bed. I would like to add a platform under the bed to store stuff. In the neighborhood of 50 - 100 pounds.
Does this seem practical? Would this be too much for the piston to handle when putting the slide in/out?

Thanks,
Steve

Storage possibilities

We did it on our 2013 Sabre 36QBOK, so it might be a different slide mechanism.

We first did it with just a 1x6 to span over the slide rail framing with “under bed storage boxes”. I later fully enclosed the area with extra wood and plywood.

Worked a treat for us while fulltiming and moving every 7 or 8 days for 2 1/2 years.

I did exactly that on our 2015 Cedar Creek 33RL. Built dividers for cans and water bottles as well. Works great. Also incorporated a center bed support on the RV king
