Structural issue

We bought a 2013 new cedar creek. After warranty ran out we noticed the frame showing through inside the rig. We took pictures and sent to forest river. They said there was nothing they could do as it was environmental and warranty had run out. So in other words you buy their product but are not to take it out in the environment. We do not smoke, have no pets and hardly cook in it. We use it three to four months a year. They refuse to offer any resolution to this problem. The warranty runs out and so does forest river. They do not care about their customers after that nor do they care about their product after warranty runs out. This is a manufacturing problem and I would think that forest river would step up and acknowledge it instead of blaming the environment. We will never buy their product again. Buyers beware. Stay away from forest river.

Start here with Part I and then read Parts II-IV. This should shed a lot of light on the whole situation.

As unfortunate as your troubles are, they are not unique.

Structural issue

3 forest river units in 16 years and never had any problems with forest river taking care of warranty, as a matter of fact I've had several issues fixed for free long after the warranty has expired one being major.
I see this is your first post...........
Smh

What do you even mean "frame showing through "

Why do you add anything about "smoking, pets, or cooking" when you mention this is a "structural" issue? What "frame" are you referring to? Wall framing? Floor framing? Show us the pics you sent FR.

Seems like another "once and done". I would like to know what the actual issue is and what the pics looked like.

While my unit is still under warranty, FR and my dealer went out of the way to correct a minor issue I had, curious to see what is actually going on here........

We had a structural issue and forest river fixed it free. Replaced laminate and all. Did you have your dealer work on your behalf?

When did you buy it, when did your warranty expire and when did you notify Forest River.

Did you contact Forest River or your dealer?

Too many missing details.
