Surround sound

I own a 2009 Silverback with surround sound wired from the Executive DVD player. It is wired from the DVD but I can not make it work. Since my wife insist I am deaf, I would really like to know what could be wrong with the unit (not my hearing)
Also the Executive remote has gone bad and I cannot find another.
Thanks
Thomsen

We have a Vizio Sound Bar that I am less than impressed with - I wasn't expecting it to sound like a concert hall or anything, but it just doesn't have very good sound.

Sorry can't help you with your exect model...

Hey Thomsen welcome to the forum! I had that POS Executive surround system in the Beast and took it out and threw it as far as I could across the lawn. I replaced it with a Panasonic SC XH 170 surround unit which is smaller and more powerfull (1000w). These can be had for less than $150 complete with new speakers.

Thanks, I understand the throwing part and will go to Best Buy soon.

Welcome to the forum Thomsen. Use your best arm when throwing. Hope you get a system that sounds good soon!

Good luck in finding that one retail. I had zero luck up here. I ended up ordering it online but look around, I'm sure there's comparable models well priced out there too.
