Tank Heater(s) Question
I have belly tank heater(s) in my 36CKTS. Are they in all 3 tanks, just the fresh water tank or what? Thanks for info!

If you have a tank heater switch, you should have all tanks heated and all elbows at the discharge. That means 12 v pads on each tank and heat wrap at the elbows of your lines. If your plugged in it's great but if your out in the boondocks, it's bad they pull BOO-KOO amps.....

You'll have a thermostatically-controlled 65-watt heater pad on each of the tanks. Our Silverback does not have anything on the elbows - not sure if that's the case with the higher end CCs...

Are you sure they even come on a Rockwood?....

Just wonderin' - what would be classified as a higher end CC? do any of them have any "snob" value?

They came on our Rockwood Mini Lite !809S - all three tanks & on sewer drain lines.

Do you not have a Rockwood? They came out standard on both of our Flagstaffs.

Tank heaters on the sewer pipes are only installed if the elbow is in a low point or exposed.
I only have 3 pads Gray, Black, and Fresh.
The switch controls a relay that routes 12 volt power to the pads.

Not sure about tank heaters but outlet elbows on all 3 tank drains have heaters on my Rockwood.

Big Paul, They come standard on the Rockwood/Flagstaff line . You should have I think it is either 12x12 or 14x14 pad on the bottom of the tanks plus as you said your drain lines at the elbow or 45 near the valve.

Do not understand, yes I do have a Rockwood as stated above in my eailer post that it came with heat tape and pads. Don't understand your statement?....

Thanks for info on heaters. Wow...heater on the black tank...now that IS high end! Too bad it doesn't radiate to the toilet seat. LOL BTW, enjoyed CPOs reply too...get out your dress whites to check the tanks!

The Rockwood and Flagstaff divisions use similar floorplans and options.
Similar models will have similar plumbing and tank/elbow warmers.

They were standard on our 08Flagstaff 831RLSS and our 12Flagstaff 8528RKWS.

Nice looking unit, hope you have safe travels and most of all fun...... You really can not beat the Rockwood/Flagstaff line for the buck. I even see they changed to a different axle. Always improving the line.......
