Tank level issue

Looking for suggestions. Both gray tanks show one red light after dumping. But but after one day of short usage, one tank is at 3 lights, and 4 lights in just a couple days. This seems very inaccurate. We have been noticing this for some time. Any idea why this tank shows full quickly?

Also noticed that nasty gray tank odor from under the sink. Replaced the vent valve, but still have occasional odor in kitchen.

Not sure these are connected.

The two issues are not connected. The level indicator lights not working correctly is a common issue on most RVs. I ignore the lights as I can pretty much know by time when they are full.

The next question is, are you sure that the tank is not full??

Some will come along and give you ideas on how to keep the tank probes cleaner or a better quality system you can buy.

Good luck !!

Tank odor ? Light malfunction ? IMO...not getting your tanks clean enough when you dump. I've been putting the Blue stuff in my Gray tank for years now due to a one time "Odor" problem I had. I try to flush as much as possible...depending on the crowd at the dump station. In the fall I flush my Black tank 4-5 times before I put it away for winter. I think my cleaning has kept me from ever having indicator problems in my tanks for as long as I've owned TT's

Put a valve cut-off on the end of your sewer pipe and open both grey tanks. If they are on the same level(which mine are), they will equalize and the least used tank will take from the most used. Won't help your light problem, but sure will extend your grey tank capacity.
