Ten Years and Counting
Well, our CC was ten years old this past spring. So far in that ten years it has gotten a new refer before delivery, new black tank valve last fall, new water heating element and thermostat pack this year, several anode rods, new roof and awning due to my carelessness. Oh yea, new tires a few years ago. And thats about it. Unless something happens to DW this and the truck are probably my last RVs. They should last me another ten years easily.

Longest I had one was 18 years then broke down and bought a new one. Cheaper than trying to fix all. Later RJD

Our first fiver was a two year old Dutchmen that we kept for 15 yrs, bought a used Laredo that we had for two years and traded that in on our first brand new fiver- 2014 Crusader
As of last summer, that old 1995 Dutchmen was still going strong...too bad they do not make them like that anymore .....

Congratulations. Our CC, 34 ft, is 11 years old and I am the same. Very few repairs, both rear side skirts, anodes, toilet guts, springs and shackles and tires. Rebuilt my furnace ( mouse got in ) No roof problems and no leakage anywhere. Travel some 5000 miles per year and full timers for the past 9 years.

Had my Coleman popup for 20 years. Put on new tires twice. Repacked the wheel bearings every few years. No problems except leaky city water connector, small tear in the corner of the canvas (happened in first year, no changes for the next 19 yrs) and fridge didn't like running on gas very much the last few years.

It's great to hear this kind of news, all the best of the season and another 10 or more year!

We just purchased a 8529IKBS 5er in October but had our Jayco 5th wheel for 18 years before trading. We bought it new and replaced one roll pin in the slide mechanism and 4 sets of tires in 18 years! Sure hoping our new Flagstaff is a keeper.

I do text but keep it limited. Only do it because of the kids. If it is more than one or two sentences I tell them to call me when they have time!
Also agree about the photos! Got a small fortune tied up in Canon camera equipment that takes much nicer photos. Camping and photography are my favorite hobbies and neither one is cheap but that is what I like doing.
Use to love woodworking and stone turning but just can't do it anymore.

We kept a 2 yr old Coachmen Cadet for just over 20 yrs. Since trading it in 1998, we had a Class C for 8 yrs, travel trailer for 6 (both Coachmen), now into the third year with a Flagstaff fiver.
