Question Thermostat

Does anyone know if the thermostat in the CC have a manual operation. It seems like you have to be in some kind of program to do anything. All I want to do is operate it so you can just turn on the AC, and the Heater and set the temps. Don't need any of those time and day settings. Can't even turn the darn thing off and on without a program of some sort. The model is Confort Control Center 2.

Thanks

RC

Using the mode button keep pressing it till you see what you want (A/C, Furnace, Fan). Say you want A/C ... press the mode button till you see A/C. Select zone 1 for main A/C ... zone 2 for the bedroom A/C. Simply scroll up or down using the arrow buttons to the right till you get to the temp you want. The A/C will start automatically in a few moments and maintain your set temp. If you want a fan speed other than Auto ... simply scroll thru them using the fan button. If you want to run the furnace, you have to have the fan set to Auto or the main A/C fan will run as well. I agree ... way too much button pressing.

Someone in the Berkshire forum says they were having the same issue.
He thinks there are some jumpers or something that sets the defaults and might be different on the 2015/2016.

Be interesting to see what the outcome is.

I have the same issue with the program mode but only on zone 1. Zone 2 can be set directly but for zone 1 I have to set 3 cycles, came that way from the dealer.
