Toshiba TV in our 2010 36RE Cedar Creek quit working.

We have traveled from northern Michigan to Texas and at each stop the TV has been working great. A couple of days ago after a short move the TV would not turn on.
It is plugged into the wall outlet yet there is zero power to TV. Any thoughts?

If it doesn't do anything, no sound and no picture, it is most likely the power supply. What happens with electronics is vibration causes solder joints to crack. If you are careful and have a good low wattage soldering iron you can resolder the joints on the circuit board. If you are not comfortable doing this any good TV repair shop should be able to fix it.

Mine crapped out on our last trip too. 32" Toshiba LCD. It will try to turn on, then goes out and the green power light blinks on/off. They are cheap enuff to replace.

I had problems with my Jensen as well. Called the company, described the problem and it was suggested that it was a low voltage issue. When we returned to a known CG and plugged in, all was well.
It appears that there is a point where it will not power up if the voltage is low.

Also, a while back I had the opportunity to talk to a knowledgable electronics guy at the CES in Vegas. I asked him about RV application and he said that LED's would hold up better because they "fire" from the sides rather than the bottom and the assemblies are lighter thereby less susceptible to vibration damage. So why do RV Mfg's put LCD's in.... cheaper!
Looking at all aspects of the situation, I'm thinking that 12v LED's would hold up better to the vibration and be less likely to have a voltage issue due to the Converter.
Additionally, most converters have TVSS circuitry which will protect the high $ LED from "outside agitation". Jensen goes up to 32" and Samsung goes up to about 49".

Thanks Ducky. I tried the tv when we got back to home base and it did the same thing. I priced out the Jensen 12v set and Holy Guacamole! $699 for a 32". I'm going to go the LED route fosho with whatever I end up with regardless.

Ours did the same thing turned out the power board went bad.

Make sure your outlet has power to it. Try another appliance in that outlet. If no power, check to see if any GFI or breakers are tripped. If you have power to outlet, then TV is probably bad.

power supply on the toshiba, seems to have been a weak link on the toshiba that year, servicing it would cost as much as a new tv.

Had the same problem you need to reset the TV. I do not know how yours is set up, but the manual states you need 4" from the back wall to allow the heat to dissipate. Their is a fuse inside that will trip and then you need to reset. I'm on my second unit but the factory put in a new bracket to keep it 4" away. No problems since, mine was installed on a 3/8" bracket from the factory. They know of the problem with these cheap Toshiba TV.

Cedar Creek must have figured it out. I have Jensen's in my 2012. Almost 12"
behind the 120v unit and 4" behind the 12v on the Thule mount. I guess not all factories are created equally.
