Trip to factory

Just left CC factory this afternoon after having oxidized front and back caps replaced. I can't saw enough about how well Denise took care of us, they are folks that care about their owners and want their products to be the best possible.
The crew even looked over our 5th wheel and fixed things we weren't even aware of.
I've seen post where the factory was criticized but I have nothing but the highest regard for the way they took my RV and me and treated us like family.
Thanks Cedar Creek and Denise for a great experience. Mike

Did they replace with the same brown color and were you asked if you wanted to go with the cream color . Just curious because we have a date in August for our replacement of front and back caps . And was wondering if the are replacing with the same caps or has the problems been fixed to stop the fading

I asked when we started the process of getting it scheduled if I could go with cream color and was told that they would have to put original color back on.
The new caps should hold up much better, original caps were not gel coated properly.

That is really great to hear.....Taking our Creek from Florida to Topeka in mid-June for the same thing and looking forward to finally meeting Denise. Did you get to tour the factory? I'd love to see one of these being built so I can get reference points for what's underneath and behind the walls.....

When you contact Denise tell her you'd like a tour of the factory. She enjoys showing you around, the workers shut down by 1pm and she'll take you after that.
You're in for an experience when visiting the area it's like another world with the horse and buggies outnumbering cars on the roads. It's Amish county and very unique.

Thanks much for the reply. We're going to spend 8 days at Shipshewana and explore a bit of everything before continuing our journey to New England..... looking forward to another great six months on the road before heading back to Florida for the winter

What campground are you staying at? The flea market is a good inexpensive place to stay at, just nothing but full hookups

The repairs were done at the Cedar Creek factory where they are built in Topeka,Indiana. We camped at the fair grounds in Goshen a few miles away but a nice RV park at Shipawanna just down the road from factory. Wasn't much open first part of April.

Orvan and his crew are wonderful people. Since he's a Forest River expert he will go over your rig with a fine tooth comb!
