Tv sound

Just purchased a Cedar Creek Champaign model 38EL...during new purchase walk through we were told that the tv sound could go through the sound system. We have not been able to figure out how to do that. how do we do get tv sound through sound system?

In order to get sound out of the audio system from the TV the system has to be on and the correct input needs to be selected. Sometimes the sound output from the TV is not plugged into the correct input jack on the audio system. Try selecting each one until you get sound. You may also need to set your TV to external audio to make it work which you can find in the menu or settings. Hope that helps.

How is the tv connected to the DVD/sound system?

1. Red /white/ yellow RCA connectors
2. Red/Green/Blue/ RCA connectors
3 HDMI cable.

You may have to add a connection from tv audio out to DVD aux in.

You also have to select correct source on DVD player.

If you cycle thru the input options on the sound system hopefully you will see one called “HDMI - ARC”. If the tv has been connected correctly, that should be the one you want. Other HDMI inputs could be on the front of the unit etc.

Have the TV on when scrolling thru the inputs.

Sorry to say, but you can't do it without doing the work that the factory should have done.

Yes have the TV on, then turn on stereo, sound will come out of speakers, you must then turn volume down on tv or you get a echo effect

My 2016 works that way. Couldn't figure it out until I read about here awhile back. Thanks everybody!

ours did the same thing and we fixed it

I had to pull the stereo out and found that the TV out was plugged into the stereo out. Put it in the IN and problem solved.

How did you pull the stereo out? I can't find how to get past the cover. Thanks for any replies!
