Uh oh...leaky toilet

So I have a brand new rig 2014 and it has a top swirl flush toilet...I cant find a thing that tells me the model or even the name of the manufactor. Anyone know what toilets they installed in Silverbacks in 2014.... Now the bigger problem is after flushing it continues to leak...enough to fill the toilet in an hour or two......I have tried to lift the pedal...I have let it slam shut....I have cleaned the ball valve inside the toilet ....I even took off the pedal to see if there was anything I could do.....big mistake...what a pain to get reinstalled with limited tools...aka screwdriver ......so any one know the model or manufactor of these toilets and anyone know what to do to get it to stop leaking....have to shut off water at night of if leaving alone.....thanks....

Dometic 310 ... cut the supply line and install a Shark Bite (or similar brand) inline shutoff valve for convience. Just cut the pex line and slip the valve on between the two ends. They are push loc oring sealed. Dometic toilets have a 2 yr warranty on parts and longer on the bowls.

Call

Call customer service at Cedar Creek 260-593-2425. Give them the last six digits of your VIN# and they will tell you the exact make and model of any of the major components that were installed into your trailer. Suppliers and models change throughout the year so what is in one trailer might not be the same as yours.

Although friendly people ... good luck with accuracy of customer service ... they failed on the correct color wood and wood trim shipped to me twice and the wrong front decal another instance. Both times I was asked and quoted my VIN# during ordering.

You"'re on the wrong end of the pedal. Through linkage the cable hauls on a spring loaded valve at the rear of the WC and controls water flush. The valve is cheapo plastic and easy to change maybe 25 dollars. Somewhere on the bowl is a nameplate to order the valve.

No cable on a 310 toilet just a valve controlled by the eccentric pedal shaft pushing on the valve shutoff plunger. And as you say 4 screws and the vacuum breaker hose & main water connection and it's a done deal.

If it's a 310 it is. OP said swirl flush and that is a characteristic of the 310.

Yes it is porcelain and is a swirl flush....I did see the plunger when I took the pedal off...have to check the back side when I get home...had a heck of a time getting the pedal back on...guess that's why it has a stamp on it Do Not Remove....but you have a heck of a time reading it if you're a big guy trying to get wedged in between the toilet and shower....probably gonna be more of a good time to try and see what's in back to get to the valve lol lol.....It has stopped leaking for now but I don't trust it.....Thanks

Not sure of mfg. or model. Cable or cam, valve is $25 or so.

Well it appears the valve is held in by clips...is there an easy way to get it out without breaking something.... I know it probably will just pop out but before I go messing around and break something I figured I would ask....

If you have a 310 (of which were not 100% sure of) here is the parts breakdown. Install is with new part. The valve is also available on ebay/amazon etc. Yes clips but it may also have some screws securing it in place. If you can't see the back of valve a mirror will allow viewing. Just a thought.
