Under bed storage

While removing some winter clothing from the under bed storage, I noticed the floor had separated from the frame. If you use yours, look along the perimeter. Mine had dropped at the head. There's a good reason for the problem: it is stapled and there's no support beneath!

If anyone figures out how to reinforce this, let me know.

Could you post some pictures?

Yes, I can post pics. In the morning if I remember - we're packing up - going to Las Cruces, NM in the morning, en route TX.

That would be great. I'm not sure exactly what you're describing but would like to check our 34RLSA when I get back to Oregon next month.

thanks

I have put sheets of styrofoam insulation under my storage making sure to give room for the hydraulic slide hoses to work. My reason was I could feel the heat in the mattress in summer and cold in the winter. Used the scraps and leftovers from underpinning in Michigan. Saw the staples u were talking about. I felt better about doing it cause I put my guns there sometimes.

Same problem with ours. Just hadn't got around to fixing it due to all the other issues. CC is making me lose faith in their quality quick. The more I look, the more crappy stuff I find. Guess I expect too much.

At least in Heaven, RVs will be perfect, and I won't have to keep fixing them.

I had trouble with my 30RL bedroom slide not going out right and before Camping World could fix that the bed just fell apart. I was on a long trip and could not take camper in for a week to stay in the shop, it stayed in shop about 3 weeks. The last time I got the slide in, the bed just collapsed in the floor, it was not put togather real good, but overall this camper has been a lot better than the Wildcat

The first two pictures are the front of the bed. The last is peeking behind their back wall. I might move it back if I want to make that like a flat gun cabinet or storage.
