If you're pushing the weight limit on your steps, consider getting two adjustable supports like these sold by Amazon & others. We have a 3 step Camco and it's solid as a rock with two supports underneath.

Having a Glowstep Revolution installed on our fiver this week. 4 step, aluminum, adjustable height and two built in ground supports.

Let me know what you think of it. I think we'll be getting the same ones. I'm just not positive if I am replacing both sets of steps or just one.

We switched out our 4 step flexco steps for a 4 step automatic steps hubby found online from dvr. We love them. Only replaced the front steps not the rear. This is on our 2016 Cardinal. Wasn't an easy job but glad we did it.
