Voyager Wireless Camera System

Has anyone had any experience with the Voyager WVOS713 Digital Wireless Observation System? We are considering it as an add-on to our Cedar Creek 5th wheel (with our Ford F250 Crew Cab as the tow vehicle) and are unsure about its ability to transmit consistently across the 53 foot distance between the camera and the monitor. Plan to use it primarily as a backup camera.

Mine does not seem to work too good, I have found out the best backup system I can get is DW with her phone and my phone, both on speaker, works better than any camera.

I've had the same system on my last two fifth wheels and it's worked flawlessly with both - first was a Flagstaff 28ft towed by a RAM 1500 Hemi and now it's installed on our Cedar Creek 38FL which we tow with a RAM 3500 dually> just make sure you follow the pairing instructions and keep the antennae pointed up.......

Thanks for the info! Very helpful as we try to decide whether to invest in this system.

I have the same year and model CC as you.

My Voyager Model WVOS511 purchased from www.rvcams.com would lock up and at times display "no signal".

Here's how I fixed it.

Purchased :

1-80" Antenna extension

Part# WVOSANTEXT

1-35' Extension cable

Part# WVOSANTEXT35

I ran the extension cable and antenna extension from the rear camera to the front cap. The cable is tie strapped to the AC and vent mounts. In between I used stick on pads to the roof that you can run tie straps through.

Since doing this my monitor has not lost the signal.

The fault I found is the receiver screen is way to small to be of much help. Later RJD
