Just go on-line to Forest River warranty. Download the form, full it out, include a check for $150, send in to the address on the form and you'll receive a copy of the form signed by a FR warranty representative. You'll be all set for the 2nd year warranty coverage!

I went to the Forest River web page and sent them an email and they sent me back a pdf file with the extra warranty application.

I went here and selected my model:

We have to pay $150 for the 2nd year. Any thoughts on the extended 7 year warranty. Would that give us 9 years ?

when were talking finance etc, they tried to push the extended warranty but very expensive. I asked if it started right after the 1 yr, she said no, as soon as I take possesion. I'm going to get the 1 year offered from CC, and thats all

Don't fall for the "this is the best priced extended warranty deal you'll ever see" when you are buying your RV. First ... you already have a one year factory warranty why double up, second there will be equally "awesome" deals when you near the end of your first year warranty, third the ole dealer makes more money off selling you extended warranties, so it's obviously in his best interest to push it on you at point of sale.

"The" 7year extended warranty won't come from Forest River. It has nothing to do with them. The coverage will be far from the same as what the factory offers. It usually starts the day you buy it even though they won't cover anything until the factory warranty runs out. So if you have the factory warranty plus the factory one year extension..your 7 year coverage is now 5 years, but at the same price. Generally speaking extended service contracts don't cover a lot, have tons of loopholes to get them out of paying and the companies go out of business on a regular basis and keep your money. If you must have one look at the Good Sam product.

Different models have different pricing structures.
Not all are $150.
