Water cut off to toilet?

I have a 2017 38el. I would like to shut off the water to my toilet and have not figured out how. If you have any suggestions I would appreciate them. Thanks.

It might be that the only way you can shut off the water to the toilet is to turn you water pump off or shut the city water off, my unit does not have a valve for the toilet like a stick house would have.

If you want a water shut off valve to the toilet you will more than likely need to add it yourself. We do not have one.

Thanks. My husband told me as much but I was hoping he was wrong. (He rarely is.)

I added one myself as my toilet originally had an issue where it would continue filling the bowl... although fixed, I wanted to make sure I had a way to stop the water to the toilet without having to turn the whole coach off. : )

If it's anything like my toilet, you can use s < $1 plug from Home Depot. Turn off water to camper, unscrew toilet water connection, plug it up, turn water back on.

They are not cheap but in the plumbing section of Home Depot or Lowe's you can find valves in the PEX Tubing section. They have hose bibs on each end. The name on these are Shark Bite. Get one of those and two hose clamps and cut yourself one in.

My toilet valve recently split and I had to shut off the city water to stop the leak to repair.

Toilet Shutoff

On my 2007 Charleston they did a great job as far as shutoffs go. In the water and dump compartment they have a manifold with on off valves for everything in the coach , hot and cold there must be around six for hot water all red and around seven all blue for cold.

Like Joeynig I used the brass one with shark bite connectors. Just cut the pipe and push the ends into the valve.

We also went with the Sharkbite shut-off. Takes all of a minute to install, just be sure to cut the water line as square as possible. These type of push loc fittings easily take 60 psi of pressure as they are rated to 200 psi.

Thanks to everyone for taking your time to reply. We are definitely checking out the shark bite cutoff. We think this will work for us.

Hmm. I have a twin manifold at the city water outlet. I turn off the main valve every single time I leave the trailer at the end of the stay. Turn it back on when we come bac . In the meantime if there's a leak it's gonna be a small one as it'll be whatever is remaining in the lines. That I can deal wit .
