Our rig had an onboard water filter which exploded early one late-fall Florida morning, even though it had never been exposed to temperatures under 37 F at the time. To add insult to injury, "genuine" replacement parts were only available from ONE vendor in Ohio who wanted $70 for the parts and $90 for express shipping. (Forest River dealers do not stock them. I looked high and low and found nothing.)
We opted to remove the entire assembly and now use EXTERIOR filtration only.
My advice: Get rid of that ticking time bomb before it's too late.
