Water pressure
We hooked up to the city line and NO pressure at all, nothing at all in the shower. Tried pulling the regulator and ran the water and everything worked great. Ran out and purchased a new regulator...put it on AND again no pressure... Took off the new regulator... again great pressure!...called the dealership and they have no idea. Any thoughts?? We have 2013 Silverback. What's so frustrating is that we just picked our rig up from the dealership before heading out. They had it for 5 weeks for warranty work. Prior to dropping our rig off we never had this problem!!! Any suggestions? Thank you for your time.

Are you putting it in backwards or not adjusting it?

It's all on correctly ... Sent a photo to the dealership/service. Like I said, it worked great BEFORE service.

It's not a stainless regulator is it? I know of several that shut down, including mine after a few uses. Switched to brass.

If you are connecting the regulator at (on) the RV, and not on the hose bib, there is a possibility that the regulator, which has a smaller inside diameter than the hose, is pushing the check valve in the City Water Inlet in. If that check valve is pushed in too far, it will block the water and effectively shut it off.

Well, logic tells you it has to be the regulators, either they are junk, installed wrong or not adjusted. Can't be anything else.

He could be onto something with the check valve thingy. Maybe the check ball is hanging up and needs the extra 'umphh' of full force water to open up?

Normally that is not the case. The springs on the built in check valve are not that strong.
Waiting for the answer on where the regulator was installed.

Are all the water valves in the full on off position?
Is there a water filter someplace?

At which end of the hose? The end that connects to the water supply, or the end that connects to the RV?
If the regulator is on the end that connects to the city water supply, that blows my theory.

I'm with Ford Idaho, either get rid of it or by-pass it. (the filter)
You really don't need it, seems everyone drinks bottled water anyway.
the size of the microns on the filter will defiantley lower the humph of the pressure as I found out on an earlier trailer I had.
When I used my regulator it was attahced to to city faucet to which I attached my water hose that went to the city connection on the trailer.
Got rid of that also, pressure was to low, I had a 60psi.
Supposedly the pipeing is good to 100psi, I have yet to come across a city line higher than 80psi, thats only me anbd my areas though.

The filter might reduce pressure, but that is not the reason for this problem if he has pressure without the regulator. The regulator is the problem. Needs adjustment maybe?

You may have a faulty regulator and the one you purchased one is also faulty. That's been know to happen on more than regulators.
