Wet Wall Behind Mattress

We have a 2014 Cedar Creek 32RL. This morning I was changing sheets on the bed and noticed that the sheet that had been on the bed was wet around the edge. I discovered that the slide out wall behind the mattress was wet. It has not rained in several days, there is no window on that wall. What could be causing this? How do we fix it?

Thank you.

How cold is it were you are. I have had it were the mattress is touching the wall it will insulate it, from the inside air, so it gets cold and then you can get condensation on the the wall.

In a word 'condensation' .

It is amazing how much us humans exhale 'condensation'
during our sleep.

It will condense on the cold surfaces and being that the slide wall is not exposed to any 'air movement' (trapped by the mattress and sheet) it would collect there.

If possible place something between the mattress and wall to hold it away from that cold surface....something like 2 shallow plastic containers ...not cardboard.
Only need a couple of inches to allow for air movement.

Also... crack a vent ...this will help also.

Hope this helps

Yea if it's cold where you are its condensation. We try to leave our mattress an inch or so out from the wall. The wall stays warm and does not condense as bad.

I run a small dehumidifier especially when running the propane furnace on a cold day. Had the same issue

Go to dollar store and buy a couple of "pool noodles" ( $1 each). These will keep the mattress away from the wall and allow air to circulate.

Yep, condensation. We run a dehumidifier. Surprising how much water is collected in a single night.

x99 on condensation. If it is cold enough, the condensation will frost and even freeze..
