Where is hot water heater

Brought my 2019 Silverback fifth wheel in for lifetime warranty check. They changed the water heater rods. Now camping..no hot water. Thought maybe they left it in bypass. Where is the water heater? On my pull behind it was behind a panel, no clue here. The lines in the outside water “closet” look like this.

Behind those red and blue water lines.

There's a diagram on the wall of the valve positions for bypass or flow.

Water heater also has a regular electrical plug in, and receptacle. See if it's plugged in.

Pull the curved plastic piece out of the way and look behind, where those lines go to.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm not seeing a bypass valve between the cold and hot lines. Seems like the cold is mixing with the hot

I thought so too, but obviously I am new to this. It worked fine before the service. I really must start taking pics of things when they are working correctly. Every time I get it back from service something is screwed up. The diagram on the wall is Greek to me. Thanks

I think one of those valves is a 3-way valve.

OK, when you say "no hot water", do you mean
1. Water comes from hot faucets but it's not hot (is it lukewarm) or
2. No water at all comes from hot faucets?

I think the valves are in the proper orientation, my question is reference the city water vs tank water valve? Where is it positioned right now?

The is definitely a electrical outlet that the water heater plugs into for electrical power. Mine had fallen out of the socket. Also if you have a old school water tank like I do, there is a switch that turns the electric on the left side near the bottom of the tank. When I get to a campground I turn it on. Then if I want it to heat up very fast I turn the propane on till I’m getting hot water and then I turn the propane off and just use electric.

My Silverback has a water heater switch on the upper right part of the switch panel, right next to the pump switch. There is a fault light between the two switches. It comes on when the hot water switch is on and the heater doesn't light off. Usually when I forget to open the propane.

That is the control switch for the LP side of the heater.
Many units also have 120v operation as well.

I don't think we are still sure whether the OP has no hot water flow or what exactly the issue is.

They have been asked but not responded since the first post a couple days ago.

I think if you did, AND the upper valve on the red line was turned 90º, you'd be in bypass.

If you only turned the lower valve 90º (and did not turn the upper valve on the red line) you would mix 'some' hot water with cold although not much because nothing would be going into the bottom of the tank.

'Usually' when a valve has three connections, it is a two way valve, as in the case of the lower valve. These are sometimes called three way valves (becay=use of the connections) but they really only let the water flow in two different directions. Into the tank as pictured or into the bypass line if turned 90º. If the valve would turn 180º then it would also be a shut off and a true three way valve.

When a valve has two connections (and inline) it is simply an on/off valve.

Ah, you're probably right.

I'm also curious what the dealership actually changed. OP said "They changed the water heater rods".

Is that the heating element or the anode rod?

So many thanks to all of you for your help. We did finally work it out using your suggestions and got the hot water working.turns out the valves were incorrect and the plug was loose. Yet another learning experience. Many many thanks.
