I heard yesterday that some places in the U P still has a foot of snow on the ground !!!
Same here.

It was dang cold Sunday evening with flurries and we awoke to 26º but the weather folks are calling for a stretch of nice days.

The ski resorts still have snow on the slopes but it is gone most other places.

Hoping to take the first outing of the season this coming weekend.

As for close to freezing temps.........just put a 100 watt light bulb in the basement, close to drains and pipes. It will increase the temp at least 2-3 degrees, if that's all you need.
It should mostly be gone by then !!!
But if it late August,,, there could be some new on the ground !!!
LOL !!!

My dad never used RV antifreeze, he just blew them out.

I carry a small bicycle air pump with me. When we get to cold weather, I hook it to the city water line and wife goes from faucet to faucet while I blow air.
(I have blown them out with my lungs, too.)

From Minnesota

To each his own but... both of those methods sound incredibly tiring.

You can get a small air compressor for like $40 or $50 that would make your life a whole lot easier.

GREAT idea! What could be simpler? (I saw a guy do the same thing but he also rigged up a light socket and plugged them in.)
