Unhappy Window woes

Is anybody else having trouble with their windows in the end of the slides? Ours are so hard to put up and down its coming to the point where we've quit using them at all. We're getting tired of the sore fingers, broken nails and cursing every time we attempt to use them. Any suggestion? Thanks.

The windows on either side of our bed in our bedroom slide were hard to operate. Try spraying a small of silicone lube on a rag and rubbing it on the vertical channels where the window slides up & down. Of course you're going to have to have the windows up but hopefully it'll be the last time you have to fight them. You're probably going to have to slide the windows up & down a couple times to spread out the lube but it should get easier each time.

Only the first couple of times - seem to work for us fine now. Even to the point they will slam down if I let go of it.
